Art Platform, the modern and contemporary art fair of Los Angeles, is set to launch September 30th, boasting leading international galleries, projects and installations.
For invited guests only, this inaugural edition will feature top dealers such as Max Wigram Gallery, Franklin Parrasch Gallery, Patrick Painter Inc., Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects, ACME and Marc Selwyn Fine Art and will include projects incorporating gallery exhibition such as New York's renown Lehmann Maupin.
Located in downtown Los Angeles, the fair seems to be a diverse demonstration of the city’s rich Southern California culture. Will Art Platform cement Los Angeles' reputation as one of the world's great arts centers?
Moreover, alongside Art Platform, curatorial projects will include the Open Platform Panel Series curated by Andrea Stang of MOCA Los Angeles, a unique Not-For-Profit project space presented by Co/Lab embracing 19 alternative spaces and independent art initiatives, a video lounge created by Paul Young and presented by Artillery Magazine, a showcasing of all media from current and recent MFA graduates from choice Southern California universities.
