It seems the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia is now a major repository for Kiki Smith’s graphic works of art. The museum has recently acquired a collection of 56 prints by Smith.
Partly attained as a gift from collector Stephen Dull and partly by means of purchase by the museum’s funds. “Kiki Smith: Rituals
,” a showcase of the works will be exhibited at the High from October 8th, 2011, through January 22nd, 2012.
The diverse range of works feature the artist’s best known prints from 1991 to 2004. It seems Smith’s artworks have found an institution that will cherish and preserve them.
