Contemporary art and design merge in New York at MoMAís latest exhibition which investigates communication between people and objects.
Running from July 24th to November 7th, Talk to Me
includes nearly 200 projects of diverse designs from the past few years and those currently under development. The exhibition focuses on object designís ability to enhance communicative possibilities and moreover foster a relationship between technology and people, whether subtly, emotionally or subliminally.
As a new-fangled interactive dimension, technology is becoming increasingly personal and seems to be more often crossing the boundaries into the world of contemporary art.
The projects include interfaces, websites, video games, and information systems on themes both international and local, public and individual. The exhibition is organized by Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator, and Kate Carmody, Curatorial Assistant, Department of Architecture and Design, The Museum of Modern Art.
